There is widespread and widespread discontent in and with democracy. Many of its promises have been breached and too many expectations have faded. However, a superior political regime capable of replacing it has not been invented. A regime suitable to provide a channel for expression, recreation, coexistence and competition of political and ideological diversity that crosses and shapes modern societies. In Letters to a Young Woman Disenchanted with Democracy, one of the most prominent political scientists in Mexico, José Woldenberg, explains in an epistolary format to an anonymous young woman what are the values ​​and principles, the perspectives, problems and challenges of Mexican democracy.
