In this fifth volume, Challenges in Latin America: Perspectives from Geography, seven texts are brought together that address various issues shared by Latin American geography and which, unintentionally, almost all revolve around the themes covered in volume 2 of the collection: regional development and territorialization processes, environmental issues, and problems in geographical education. Undoubtedly, this return to these themes indicates that they have become a challenge within the field of geography in our region.
