Work edited by Harald Schöndorf
The Dictionary of Philosophy of Walter Brugger is a classic reference work for over fifty years. We present new edition, completely revised and enlarged under the direction of Harald Schöndorf (professor of Epistemology and History of Philosophy at the Hochschule für Philosophie Munich).
Almost all items have been rewritten in order to collect the great changes that have occurred in the philosophical outlook of the past decades. It has also introduced new entries, relating mainly to the philosophy of language and political philosophy. However, the overall appearance and respects the spirit of the original work of Brugger.
The body form is accompanied by a selected bibliography designed to facilitate a deeper study of the concepts. The dictionary is supplemented with a broad outline of the history of philosophy, both Eastern and Western.
