One morning like any other, the poet Attar wakes up turned into a hooded bird. He meets with birds coming from all over to talk about the crisis that plagues his world, plagued by wars, bloated air and general sadness. The hooded bird convinces them to embark on the flight in search of King Simurg, who lives on the mountain of Kaf. Only he has the answer that can save them. In their difficult journey the bravest birds must cross the seven valleys: Search, Love, Knowledge, Detachment, Unity, Astonishment and Death.
