This book takes as its starting point the idea of responding briefly to two objections that have made me often. The first about the precise meaning I give to the word "real". The second about my refusal to heed any statement or thought of moral nature.
The first investigation, about the real, has led me to a fluoroscopic examination of the tautology that, compared to the analysis, has been less simple - and less simplistic - than it seemed. The secret of tautology, that what we might call his "demon" in the sense of enchantment and magic circle, is that all you can say one thing ends up being reduced only to the enunciation, or re-enunciation, of the same thing.
