El Segundo Paraíso is one of the few forays into the prose of the great German poet Hilde Domin (Heidelberg, 1909-2006), who between 1955 and 1961 lived long periods in Spain where she became friends with Spanish intellectuals and writers, especially with Vicente Aleixandre , and intensified her work as a translator and transmitter of Spanish culture and literature in Germany. During those years he collaborated in various issues of the Malaga poetry magazine Caracola. And also during that time he produced the manuscript of El Segundo Paraíso
