Rock is a Dionysian activity. Screaming, dancing, singing and delirium are the elements that define its tonality. The latter is none other than that arising from drunkenness and its ability to confuse the real, to dislocate the planes and alter the normal movement of events. Drunkenness, in this sense, communicates above all with chaos, and it is the need for dissolution that is at the origin of all poetic creation: it does not arise from it but from the need to go beyond the limits, in a culture ( the western one) that has become the fear of the undetermined.
