Ways of doing History seeks to reconstruct the ways of reading and asking how the current historian approaches the historians of antiquity and the Middle Ages, readings and questions that have radically changed from those asked by historians of other generations. In other words, this is a work that reflects—in and from the present—on the social fabrication of the past in the Greco-Latin and medieval periods, to through this detour try to answer the difficult questions of why and why of the science of history in today's society.
