The concise grammar of the French language offers a clear and complete exposition of grammar, spelling and phonetics in 39 lessons structured by themes, with supporting reading texts, following a very pedagogical method for progressive learning. To complete the study of grammar, each lesson is accompanied by a vocabulary and exercises, whose solutions are in the Appendix. It also contains a French-Spanish and Spanish-French vocabulary, a compilation of all the lessons. On the other hand, as a novelty and important contribution, the reading texts have their corresponding audio, which can be downloaded for free from the links of interest at the end of this page. This grammar, already converted into a classic, was originally developed by Emil Otto and Karl G. Kordgien, according to the Gaspey Otto-Sauer method. Now, it has been completely updated by Syrine Daoussi Diaz to modernize the theoretical explanations, according not only to the great progress made in the philological field, but also to a reader of our days. Daoussi is a researcher in the Department of Romance French Philology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and collaborator in the COGNIPROS project, focused on the study of accentuation and the functional architecture of language. His working languages ​​are Catalan, Spanish and French.
