A History of Chinese Art, in four lavishly illustrated volumes, is published here, for the first time in Spanish, by the University of Veracruz. This work offers a chronological perspective spanning the period before the Qin Dynasty (before 221 BC) to the beginning of the 20th century.

Its pages provide a magnificent overview of China's rich artistic tradition, which flourished throughout its history, dating back to the Stone Age, when jade, considered a precious stone, was offered in burials.
