In this book we have gathered several essays on the theory and practice of intertextuality. In each of the strategic location of this concept in contemporary symbolic production, whose presence has been manifested increasingly intensity from the second half of the twentieth century it is evident.

The authors examine the intertextuality from three different theoretical positions: the pleasure of intertext, interdiscursivity and textual deconstruction, and propose approaches to the analysis of intertextual practices in the visual arts, literature, television and cinema.
