The painful family is a compilation of essential concepts for understanding contemporary approaches in family therapy and couples. The concepts developed in this work are formidable work tool for clinical practice, and propose alternatives to existing models to make possible the opening and evolution of family therapy movement beyond the standards, ie the beliefs of a time.
