A family of British immigrants, originally from Hong Kong, can travel through time. But, for reasons they can't understand, each of them can only travel to certain places and times, following different rules and for a limited time.
When their parents don't return from a trip to the past, each of the children heads in a different direction: while Eva tries to find her place in the present, Tommy chooses to search for answers in the past and within his family, pursuing a love that is impossible despite having all the time in the world.
