The short life, whose full title is Calendar and Lunar. La vida brevis, was published in the magazine Blanco y Negro between January 11, 1925 –Incipit vita brevis.– and March 15, 1931. It was a weekly collaboration that regularly appeared in the “Gran Mundo” section. Chronicle of the week Varied echoes of society”, signed with the pseudonym “Un Ingenio de esta Corte”. The content of these "card sheets", as D'Ors liked to call them, revolves around the social life of the moment: cultural activities -gatherings, theater, conferences, music festivals-, purely recreational activities -parties and meetings–, description of relevant characters of the time –painters, writers, philosophers–.
