Viktor E. Frankl is a professor of neurology and psychiatry at the University of Vienna as professor of speech therapy at the International University of San Diego (California). He is the founder of logotherapy, or, as many authors call the "third Viennese school of psychotherapy" (the first two are psychoanalysis and individual psychology). Frankl also has held various professorships at the universities of Harvard, Stanford, Dallas and Pittsburgh. Invited by 208 universities, Frankl has given lectures in America, Australia, Asia and Africa.
