Philosophical and subversive, these tales deconstruct human failures with a sharp acumen. The teeth of the comb is an eccentric compilation of micro stories or mini-stories written by the Syrian author, based in the United States, Osama Alomar. The extent of most of them does not exceed a paragraph, and many consist of a single phrase. At the same time allegorical and didactic, these brief stories are carried out the same by strange humans that by anthropomorphic animals (snakes, wolves, sheep), natural elements (swamps, lakes, rainbows, trees) and human creations (trucks, swords, zeros) . Many of these stories, unlike the more traditional fables, suddenly contain messages and dark secrets, difficult to identify, which provoke a sense of strangeness in the reader. Others are transparent and surprised by their economy of means, by the conciseness with which they expose an idea.
