There are thinkers who acquire the category of event because after them the way of thinking is transformed radically. Thinking about history, God, man or freedom after the masters of suspicion is a very suggestive exercise. Marx, Nietzsche and Freud shake the pillars of Western civilization: they are the epicenters of a seismic movement that substantively transforms the order of things. Nothing will be thought of in the same way again. Nobody remains unpunished after passing through the masters of suspicion. Marx, Nietzsche and Freud purify the image of God and the religious experience. Unwittingly, they help us to practice this suspicion regarding our own beliefs and to empty our minds of these anthropomorphic deities that we tend to forge. In this work, Francesc Torralba exposes with clarity and rigor the contribution of each of the authors studied (Marx, Nietzsche and Freud) to the critique of religion and inherited anthropology.
