Just like life, which springs up in the wildest places, rural normalistas have firmly maintained their vocation. Without limiting themselves to the classrooms, the work of these teachers overflows into the community, they maintain it, and in that commitment to care, they take ownership of their environment. Some names appear in these pages but, in the end, it is the historical achievements of the guild – in general – that set the tone: its mystique and its teaching are nourished by examples, life and value, which with their congruence acquire leadership and build A time.
