Bruno Bosteels teaches at the Institute of Latin American and Iberian Cultures and the Institute of Comparative Literature and Society at Columbia University. He has also taught at Harvard and Cornell University. And he is the author of several books, including "Alain Badiou or the restart of dialectical materialism" (2007) and "The Actuality of Communism" (2011). Emerging figure in the field of radical leftist thinking, he is a regular lecturer and guest professor at Latin American universities. Similarly, his thinking enjoys enormous prestige in the US, where it is cited as a true reference for the history and thought of Latin America.
