The present work aims to make a translation with introduction and notes of those books and fragments of the Polybio stories that deal more directly in the history of Rome and their relationship with the facts of Hispania, however maintaining as far as possible a line of continuity and coherence in the content of the actions narrated by the historian. It is therefore a selection that allows us to admire, with the succession of the different passages, the best historical freshness of the events that occurred in our country in a time of definitive importance for us: the Romanization of the Iberian Penisula.
