Sexuality is focused, not only on its throbbing or symbolic aspect, but also on the materiality of genitality and sexuality as an act. The impact of the subject today and is always undeniable. In the early stages of the emergence of psychoanalysis as a theory and clinical discipline, Freud placed sexual throbbing in the theoretical place of relevance that gave identity to the entire project called psychoanalysis. however, the sexual etiology of the neurosis posed by Freud was kept with a very close understanding of genitality, losing the richness and novelty of what the author presented in his different theoretical developments. This confusion was very relevant in the criticism of the method, coming mainly from the different ceintifica instances of the time, including the rejection that emerged from the religious institutions of Europe and also from the United States. The editors of this book Carmen Gloria Fenieux and Rodrigo Rojas, who, in turn, are authors of some chapters of this book, invited other psychoanalysts to resume sexuality from this perspective, guided mainly by the tradition of Donald Winnicott's thinking. However, this is not a book about this author and his ideas. It is a book on sexuality and the reflections of the different psychoanalysts who participated, arising from their experiences, their clinic and their various readings, that is, from the richness of their own lives.
