Fieldwork in Latin America. Regional anthropological experiences in ethnography meet an urgent need: to recognize and dialogue the relentless and unlaudable work of Latin American anthropologists as field researchers. Rosana Guber (Argentina), Cornelia Eckert (Brazil), Myriam Jimeno (Colombia) and Esteban Krotz (Mexico) gathered 37 authors and 30 articles, some unpublished, others already published, reflecting on the place of ethnographic experiences in knowledge production on and from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.
