Transport in Time, by the poet and essayist Ruy Belo, is a collection of poems written during his stay in Madrid in 1973. The work draws the image of the poet who, through self-reflection, seeks the idea of poetry and himself. Through a journey through loneliness, childhood, travel, memory and dreams, among other obsessions, he seeks to find himself through language. The author finds himself in his own character: A man, a context and a series of places through which he traveled. The meticulous translation is done by Blanca Luz Pulido, who puts the texts in the original language in parallel, looking for an approach on the part of the reader to contemporary Portuguese poetry.
