The author says in the preliminaries of his study that it was motivated by an almost marginal observation that can be read in Being and Time, by this author Heidegger. For Aristotle, rhetoric is a discursive function of public deliberation on matters of vital importance to the citizen, and this function is fulfilled through the discourse and the delivery of the reasons for the corresponding decision, which implies an active participation of the audience .
