The Argentine pianist Juan Sebastián Lebonté is on tour in Europe when he receives the news of the death of his father, the man who, obsessed by the figure of the mysterious cult pianist Bill Turner, pushed his son to become a musician. Back in Buenos Aires, forced to face an existence that seems increasingly alien to him, Juan discovers that his father, a prosperous man, has only left him a small plot of land on the outskirts of the city that he had no knowledge of. What he finds when he arrives at the small field in Paso del Rey is a poor place, overgrown by vegetation, on the banks of the river, near a factory, which has been taken over for years by a family, the center of a small and humble community that, unaware of Juan's true identity, welcomes the newcomer.
