
Margo Glantz and Tamara Kamenszain met in 1979, when Tamara and Hector Libertella went into exile in Mexico, and became close friends. So much so that their relationship continued for several decades, during which they met occasionally in different circumstances and countries. These letters reflect that period of not seeing each other and yet wanting to communicate, learn about each other, discuss each other's writings, and maintain a lively dialogue. They span from 1984, when Tamara returned permanently to Argentina, to 1997, when the physical exchange was replaced by email.
