Richard Tarnas is professor of philosophy and psychology at the Institute of Integral Studies California (CIIS), where he founded and directs the program in Philosophy, Cosmology and Consciousness. He graduated in history of culture and psychology at Harvard University and his Ph.D. at the Saybrook Institute. In 1991, he published "The Passion of the Western Mind," which quickly became a best seller and is now required reading in many American universities. Coming soon will be published in Atalanta.
