Manuel Barrios Casares is professor of philosophy at the University of Seville and deputy director of "Er, journal of philosophy".  Student of the genealogy of modernity with special dedication to German idealism and the foothills of the critique of reason, has translated Hölderlin HIPERION FRAGMENT; published several books on Nietzsche -THE POWER WILL LIKE LOVE (1990), Hölderling AND NIETZSCHE, DOS PARADIGMAS nuisance of Modernity CONTACT (1992) and WILL OF THE TRAGIC (1993) -; collaborated in the DICTIONARY Hermeneutics (1997) by A. Ortiz-Osés and P. Lancers; and edited, with José Manuel Sevilla, the METAPHOR AND PHILOSOPHICAL DISCOURSE volume (2000)
