Longino (Greek: Λογγίνος) or Pseudo-Longinus is the common name as the author of the treatise Περὶ ὕψους (On the Sublime), which specifies especially the concept of "greatness" in the literature is given. Longino (probably Dionisio Longino), must have been a professor of rhetoric and literary critic of some Platonic trend that could live between the first century and the third century.
