A nourished tour without par for a territory that equally concerns the relationship between word and body, theory and experience, art and suffering. Through a meticulous approach to the works of post-conceptual Chinese artist Song Dong and the Egyptian-French poet and filmmaker Safaa Fathy, Marcela Quiroz Luna, celebrated for her previous work on the Mexican master of pinhole photography Carlos Jurado, incisively thematizes three areas, in a register that is at the same time autographic: the theory and criticism of contemporary art, the testimony in its philosophical and literary dimensions, and the critical studies of "disability". The volume also has an unpublished translation of the poem Nom à la mer, by Safaa Fathy, one of the closest collaborators of the proponent of deconstruction, Jacques Derrida.
