According to this observation, "Rhetoric" should be considered as the first hermeneutic of the daily life of being with one another; that is, of life in common. For Aristotle, rhetoric is a discursive function of public deliberation on matters of vital importance to the citizen, and this function is fulfilled through the discourse and the delivery of the reasons for the corresponding decision, which implies an active participation of the audience .
