George A. Mather is pastor of Our Savior Lutheran Church in St. George, Utah, belonging to the Lutheran Church in America Mossouri Synod. He studied theology at Christ College / Concordia University (LCMS) - Irvine, CA where he obtained his bachelor's degree and at the Concordia Theological Seminary (LCMS) in Fort Wayne, IN with a Master's degree in theology. He specialized in the subject of sects, occultism and religions and is considered one of the largest authorities in this field in the United States, having given numerous seminars and conferences throughout the country. Together with his wife Sharon, they have been working in evangelization in sectarian groups for more than 38 years.
