Doctor in Ancient History from the Complutense University of Madrid (1997), with a thesis on the Egyptian pyramids, Jose Miguel Parra is a specialist in the pharaonic world, on which he has published several monographs: History of the Egyptian pyramids, The builders of the great pyramids, the pyramids. History, myth and reality, Love life in ancient Egypt, People of the Nile Valley, Mummies. The defeat of death in ancient Egypt and History begins in Egypt, in addition to being the coordinator and author of an important manual on the subject: Pharaonic Egypt. Society, economy and politics. Translated into several European languages, he has taught seminars at different Spanish universities (Castilla-La Mancha, Murcia, UNED) and is an outstanding speaker who also collaborates on radio and television. A member of the Djehuty Project, he has been excavating seven years in the tombs of Djehuty and Hery on the western shore of Luxor and regularly publishes in different Spanish magazines (National Geographic Historia, La Aventura de la Historia e Historia y Vida).
