César Tomás Aira González (Colonel Pringles, Province of Buenos Aires; February 23, 1949), known as César Aira; he is an Argentine writer and translator; and one of the many exponents of contemporary Argentine literature. He has published more than a hundred works, especially short novels that he defines as "Dadaist fairy tales" or "literary toys for adults".
