The concept of democracy as any term that has been used in different times and latitudes is not something univocal, there are numerous types and each with its own characteristics that may even conflict. Francisco Serratos explores some of the ideas that have founded democratic practice and its links with the dark dice of that system that despite all the values they promote seems to have condemned its practitioners to an increasingly unequal, impoverished and exploited life.
