Doctor in Social Sciences with orientation in Sociology from the UNAM, an institution in which he also obtained a Master's degree in Political and Social Studies and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Public Administration. In addition, he has a Specialty in Political Situation Analysis. He is Director of the Department of Social and Political Sciences at the Universidad Iberoamericana. He is a Full Time Research Professor at the Universidad Iberoamericana (IBERO) Mexico City. He was Coordinator of the Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Public Administration at IBERO Mexico City. Member of the National System of Researchers (SNI) of CONACyT, national researcher Level 1. They stand out as lines of research, the analysis of political processes and the study of electoral institutions. Regarding the discipline, the line of research that he currently directs refers to the contemporary Theory and Methodology of Political Science, with an emphasis on the main approaches and analysis tools used by Academic Political Science in Mexico.
