María Ángeles Querol is Emeritus Professor of Prehistory at the Complutense University of Madrid. With a long academic career, she has held positions such as deputy director general of Archeology at the Ministry of Culture or president of the Andalusian Archeology Commission. Among the many recognitions that mark his career, it is worth highlighting the European Prize for Archaeological Heritage, awarded by the European Association of Archaeologists in 2015, or the 2019 Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts, awarded by the General Administration of the Condition. Since 1994 she has been teaching the subject of Cultural Heritage Management in the Bachelor and Bachelor of History, as well as in different masters.
