The Reading Comprehension Program (PCL) is an organized material to teach children from 10 to 13 years old various reading techniques and strategies. It consists of a manual (where the instructions of the program are detailed, the correct answers of the two notebooks and complementary reading games) and two notebooks (where a story is presented throughout 29 chapters along with various activities). The Reading Comprehension Program is based on the fact that the essence of reading is not in the decoding of information, but in the understanding that gives meaning to what we read. Among the different comprehension skills, we must highlight the ability to remember what is being read, infer ideas that are not explicit, anticipate concepts or events, assess content, interpret the author's intentions and advance hypotheses about possible outcomes.
