Why is sexuality on the verge of a "short circuit" between ontology and epistemology? In this poignant book by Alenka Zupančič, it is analyzed that sexuality and knowledge are structured around a fundamental negativity that unites them at the core of the unconscious. The Slovenian philosopher maintains that the unconscious, linked to sexuality, is the concept of an inherent link between being and the knowledge of her own negativity.
