Robert Kolker (Columbia, Maryland) is a journalist and writer. His journalistic work has been published in media such as The New York Times Magazine, Wired or Bloomberg Businessweek. His report "Bad Education", about a case of embezzlement in an American public school, was made into a movie in 2019. He is the author of the piece "Who is the Bad Art Friend?", which went viral after its publication in The New York Times in 2021. He is the author of the books Lost Girls, also adapted for film, and The Boys from Hidden Valley Road.
