Alberto Giordano was born in Rufino (Argentina) in 1959 and has lived in Rosario since 1971. He is a teacher, literary critic and essayist. Among his books are Manuel Puig, la conversación infinita (2001), Modos del ensayo. From Borges to Piglia (2005), A Possibility of Life. Intimate Writings (2006), The Password of the Solitary. Writers' Diaries (2013), The Thought of Criticism (2015), The Autobiographical Turn (2020), Returning to Where I Never Was. Something About My Father (2020), and the three volumes of his diaries, originated in Facebook posts: The Time of Convalescence (2017), The Time of Improvisation (2019) and Time for More (2020).
