Fredrik Sjöberg (Västervik, Sweden, 1958) is an entomologist, writer, literary critic and translator. He has written on a variety of topics, from the history of the environmental movement to the insect collection of the Swedish poet Tomas Tranströmer. He lives with his family on the island of Runmarö, in an archipelago east of Stockholm. He is the author of several
informative essays, including The Art of Collecting Flies (2004; Libros del Asteroide, 2023), a bestseller translated into more than ten languages.
