Rodolfo Kusch

Günter Rodolfo Kusch (Buenos Aires, June 25, 1922 – Maimara, September 30, 1979) was an Argentine anthropologist and philosopher.

He earned a degree in Philosophy from the University of Buenos Aires. He conducted extensive field research on indigenous and popular American thought as the basis for his philosophical reflection. He also wrote several plays and an extensive collection of articles and lectures on American aesthetics. Tango was one of his favorite subjects.

In 1989, he was honored by the Argentine Chamber of Deputies.
