
Margarita Padilla García (Barcelona, January 22, 1957) is a Spanish computer engineer and programmer, author of several texts of critical thinking on technologies and the network society in the information society and one of the founders of Sindominio, a project created in Madrid between 1998 and 2000 to support social groups on the Internet. In her work she analyzes the evolution of the use of social technology, the struggle of groups on the Internet and the emergence of a new social and collaborative ecosystem in the face of commercial use, taking advantage of the possibilities of the distributed network.
