Víctor Baca, Mexican poet and essayist. He studied Hispanic Language and Literature at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He edited the literary magazine Tierra Prometida for over a decade.

He is the author of two collections of poetry and a book of essays. His work is included in two collective anthologies. He publishes frequently in national and international newspapers and cultural magazines.

He was awarded the Edmundo Valadés Fellowship for the publication of independent cultural magazines in the 2007-2008 period from the National Fund for Culture and the Arts (FONCA).
