Karl-Heinz Ohliger (Coblentz, 1938) a doctorate in theology, was a teacher of Theology and Pedagogy of Religion at the Catholic University of Saarland between 1970 and 1978, and since 1978 he is Professor of Religious Studies and History of Christianity at the University of Saarland. The central themes of his work are the history of culture and history, Islam, the religions of ancient history and theology, inculturation in non-Western world. In authoring numerous publications should be devoted to these subjects.
