Alfonso Alzamora

Alfonso Alzamora (Barcelona, 1951), held his first painting exhibition in his hometown and since then has shown his work in New York, London, Paris and Geneva, as well as Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Palma de Mallorca and Girona, among other places. He has public works in emblematic places, such as the Tribute to Isaac Albéniz and Alicia de Larrocha, in front of L ’Auditori de Barcelona. Since 1980 he lives and works in Ordis, a small town in Alt Empordà, in the province of Girona. He has published texts in some of his catalogs, such as The Wall, Mediterranean Edge and A dialogue with space, and in presentations by other artists.
