Andrew Kaufman

Andrew Kaufman is a writer, director and producer of Canadian radio. He was a member of Perpetual Motion Roadshow, an underground publication that included leading novelists, poets, artists, musicians and comedians. He currently works as a producer at CBC Radio in Toronto, and a regular contributor to the literary web mcsweeneys.net.

His short film Aberistiwith was screened at festivals in Europe and Canada, and among his novels include All My Friends Are Superheroes (2003), a comic love story between an ordinary man and a superhero, in which characters plot personify different human types, which has been translated into many languages. Other notable stories are Waterproof Bible Kaufman (2009) and Tiny Wife (2010).
