Ángel Pariente founded Júcar Ediciones in Madrid, for which he directed the collections "Los Poetas" and "Biblioteca de Traductores". De provincia, published in 2010, is his last book of poetry. Translator of the complete work of the Count de Lautréamont (The Songs of Maldoror, Poetry, Letters); He has published several studies and anthologies dedicated to Spanish poetry of the seventeenth century (Góngora, Poesía culterana) and the surrealist movement: Anthology of Surrealist Poetry in the Spanish Language (1985), Thematic Dictionary of Surrealism (1996) and in 2008 Reasoned Disorder in this editorial. His bibliographic Dictionary of twentieth-century Spanish poetry (2003) obtained the 2002 Bibliography Prize from the National Library.
