Anna Maria Nicolò is child neuropsychiatrist, psychoanalyst didactic function of the Italian Psychoanalytical Society (SPI) and the International Psychoanalytical Association (IPA).
Early in his career he had a systemic orientation but left to pursue this current psychoanalysis. He has held numbers national and international positions: former president of the Forum of teenagers from the European Federation of Psychoanalysis, co-founder of the Italian Society of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy of children, adolescents and couples (SIPsIA), cofounder of the International Psychoanalytic Association Couple and Family (AIPCF), president of the Società Italiana di Psychoanalysis Coppia e della della Famiglia (PCF), scientific and educational secretary adolescent psychotherapy at the Istituto Winnicott (ASNE-SIPsIA) and director of the magazine Interazioni.
He has published numerous articles, books and presentations theoretician-clinics in Italian, English, French and Spanish.
